April 13 Discussion - Remote Control Sex Toys in Second Life

This week we are taking a deep dive into the wonderful world of remote control sex toys.  This topic is of increasing interest in the Second Life community as it adds an additional level of intimacy and realism to "Cyber" Sex.  

These toys can be Controlled from HUDs and Tip jars and in some cases control is being integrated into furniture and BDSM equipment in Second Life.  It is safe to safe as this technology advances so will its presence in second Life.  

We will discuss: 

Long distance remote control toys and general concepts in their use.  

We will go over the various control options for these toys. 

• We will focus on the Lovense and Lovebridge products.  We will walk through the set up process.
• A brief discussion on safety and sex toys. 
• We will have a live demonstration of the products with opportunities for discussion participants to control the toys 
• We will discuss how these toys can be incorporated into play scenes and D/s relationships

2. In Second Life purchase and unpack the LoveBridge interface of your choice.  Add the Hud it will show up in the lower right corner of your screen and look like this: 

Click on the heart and you will get this : 

To connect this to your Lovense connect account select QR login a link will appear in chat when clicked will display a QR code in your web browser.  On the connect app select Scan QR code.  Once scanned the Hud will be connected to your Toy. At this time test the toy not surprisingly there is a delay.   

Once things are working select your toy by clicking toy mode and you will see a dialog as shown below.  Lovense makes toys with single motors and two motors :P  Nora , Max and Edge have two motors if you are using them select one of those otherwise select other single motor devices like the Hush.

If you selected a device with two motors your control will look like this. 

Lovebridge makes two remote controls so you can pass one to your Mistress allowing her to control your toy :).  To do that you simply rezz either lovers or guest remote and take it back into your inventory. (these are found in the extras package that comes with the deluxe  Lovebridge) 

Ounce complete give the remote to your Mistress, thank her for her consideration, and wait while she adds and activates the remote.  She simply adds the remote it will appear in the lower right corner of her screen.    It will look like this:

At this point you mistress can control your toy.  Un fortunately I could not get both motors from the lovers remote.  

Where you can go from here is up to you they do have a way to build custom patterns and load them into the interface.  These patters will loop continuously until mistress stops them.
